Responsibilities

  • Greet guests within 60 seconds and set expectations for their experience
  • Accurately take and enter orders with attention to detail
  • Guide guests through the menu, including making recommendations and upselling
  • Maintain full ownership of tables from greeting to payment
  • Pre-bus and maintain clean, organized sections at all times
  • Manage timing of courses and communicate delays proactively
  • Stay composed and solution-oriented during high-volume shifts
  • Support team by running food, drinks, and assisting where needed
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, efficient service
  • Present checks promptly and help turn tables efficiently

Skills

  • High-volume table management (handling 4–8+ tables at once)
  • Strong menu knowledge + ability to guide guests (not just take orders)
  • Upselling and suggestive selling (apps, wine, desserts)
  • Accurate order entry + attention to detail
  • Timing + pacing (coursing meals correctly)
  • Cash handling + POS experience (ideally Toast POS)
  • Team coordination (kitchen, bar, runners)
  • Ability to run food / bus tables when needed
  • Cleanliness ownership
