Responsibilities 

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portion and presentation
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Oversee one or more stations on the line
  • Ensure all prep work is completed
  • Step in on any station when needed to keep service flowing.
  • Guide and mento line and prep cooks
    • Help train new kitchen staff on recipes, safety and techniques.
    • Ensure food is prepared quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Assist with inventory
