WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently hiring part-time and full-time Bartrista at our Etobicoke location in Toronto. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated & passionate people to join our team! We strive to attract employees who have an enthusiasm and passion for enthusiastic customer service and great drinks!
Having experience working with customer service, fast-paced environment, food and beverage experience is an asset but not a requirement. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation, and various other duties required in a cafe.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Food & Beverage experience considered an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Enjoys working independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends and holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service for all patrons;
  • Prepare drinks, teas, and toppings;
  • Routine cleaning, dish washing, maintenance;
  • Operate the Point of Sale and safely handle cash;
  • Communicate and work effectively in a team environment;
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform various cafe duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Food handler and First Aid certification is considered an asset but not required

OPERATING HOURS AND REQUIRED AVAILABILITY:

  • The ideal full-time candidates should be available a minimum of 30-40 hours per week and including the ability to work opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ideal part-time candidates should be available a minimum of 16-20 hours per week and including the ability to work opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Opening shifts can be starting as early as 9:30am. Closing shifts can be ending at 10:30 PM
