Job Overview
Linney Breaux' is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team and keep our kitchen running strong. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in great food, leads a solid crew, and stays steady when service gets busy.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, schedule, and lead the kitchen team while building a positive, team-first culture
- Make sure every plate goes out right—on recipe, consistent, and well-presented
- Run a clean, safe kitchen with proper food handling and FIFO inventory practices
- Keep food and labor costs in line to hit budget goals
- Manage daily workflow, staffing, equipment, and prep to keep service smooth
- Contribute to new menu items, seasonal dishes, and specials
- Handle guest food concerns and allergy/dietary requests alongside our FOH team
- Stay on top of records, health inspections, and new-hire training
Skills
- Proven kitchen leadership experience—you’ve run a line and a team
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Solid food costing, budgeting, and inventory skills
- Organized, calm under pressure, and a strong communicator
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable (or willing to learn) 7shifts and Square
- Flexible on shifts and ready to step in when needed
