Job Overview

Linney Breaux' is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team and keep our kitchen running strong. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in great food, leads a solid crew, and stays steady when service gets busy.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, schedule, and lead the kitchen team while building a positive, team-first culture
  • Make sure every plate goes out right—on recipe, consistent, and well-presented
  • Run a clean, safe kitchen with proper food handling and FIFO inventory practices
  • Keep food and labor costs in line to hit budget goals
  • Manage daily workflow, staffing, equipment, and prep to keep service smooth
  • Contribute to new menu items, seasonal dishes, and specials
  • Handle guest food concerns and allergy/dietary requests alongside our FOH team
  • Stay on top of records, health inspections, and new-hire training

Skills

  • Proven kitchen leadership experience—you’ve run a line and a team
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Solid food costing, budgeting, and inventory skills
  • Organized, calm under pressure, and a strong communicator
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable (or willing to learn) 7shifts and Square
  • Flexible on shifts and ready to step in when needed
