Job Overview
Jag's Steak and Seafood is seeking professional applicants for cooks and chefs with a passion for food and cooking techniques to join our awesome culinary team! Previous experience and restaurant tenure is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Conduct day to day culinary operations
- Maintain positive attitude while demonstrating teamwork, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Check freshness and quality of ingredients
- Assist in the development of menu items
- Standardize recipes and plate presentations
- Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
Qualifications Required:
- Team Player
- Basic knowledge of professional cooking and experience in knife handling
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling policies and procedures
- Ability to stand, bend, and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Evening and Weekend Availability
- Must be at least 17 years of age
Experience in high-volume restaurants and culinary training a plus
