Job Overview

Duties:

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
  • Enter orders into the POS system and process payments through the cash register
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper sanitation practices
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and delivery
  • Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests

Skills:

  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience with cash register operations, including handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
  • Strong knowledge of food service procedures and etiquette
  • Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and discounts accurately
  • Understanding of food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests
  • Ability to build positive guest relations by providing attentive and personalized service

Qualifications
Experience with POS systems, Toast POS and etc .
Strong customer service skills with a focus on upselling and guest services
Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register efficiently
Basic math skills for calculating orders and handling payments accurately
Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations and managing restaurant bookings
Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.75 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15-30 hours per week
