Sweet Bean – Barista (Chinatown Location)
Sweet Bean Cafe is opening a new sister cafe in Chinatown, and we’re looking for experienced baristas to join our team and help bring our cafe culture to a new neighborhood.
If you love specialty coffee, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and care about hospitality just as much as craft, we’d love to meet you.
What you’ll do:

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and cafe beverages with consistency and care
• Provide warm, thoughtful customer service
• Support daily café operations, including opening/closing duties
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace
• Work closely with the team to set the tone for a new shop
• Bring out pastries and organzie pastry case

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 1 year barista experience, knowledge of coffee and tea
• Understanding of coffee fundamentals and workflow
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work efficiently during busy hours
• Able to pour latte art is not required - but preferred
• Able to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Great at communicating with coworkers and customers, and problem solving

We’ll teach you everything you need to know to be successful in this role. For those with a lot of experience under your belt, we are also looking for shift leads and program managers.
Compensation is hourly, starting wage is based on your experience with specialty coffee and leadership.
