Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-assured server to join our dynamic team at our lively sports bar. The ideal candidate will bring confidence and composure to a fast-paced environment, with a passion for customer service and a knack for creating a welcoming atmosphere. As a server, you will fill and prepare beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic drinks for tables, maintain a tidy workspace, and ensure guests enjoy an exceptional experience—especially during the excitement of game day.
Responsibilities

• Fill and prepare beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages for tables with precision and a calm, steady hand
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and handling inquiries with poise, even during busy game-time rushes
• Keep the service area clean and organized, including washing glassware and wiping surfaces, with a keen eye for detail
• Wash and maintain all FOH dishes, glassware, and service items
• Assist BOH with dishwashing when time permits and vice versa
• Monitor beverage inventory and assist with restocking supplies, staying efficient even when the pace picks up
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper beverage and food handling practices, with consistency and care as required by Florida law
• Help set up and break down service areas for events or banquets as needed, managing tasks with ease
• Use basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments accurately even in a rush
• Stay on top of menu items, specials, and updates to enhance guest experiences with assurance and clarity—bonus points for knowing the latest scores!
• Occasionally lift and move items up to 40 lbs as part of restocking or setup duties

Experience and Requirements

• Confidence in your ability to perform the job without getting overwhelmed is key—previous serving experience is a bonus, not a must
• Comfort stepping into a fast-paced role and staying composed while delivering top-notch service
• A proactive attitude and attention to detail, even when the crowd gets loud and the pace picks up
• Strong sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively
• Basic math skills to manage transactions smoothly and accurately
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a background check to ensure a safe and trustworthy team environment
• Familiarity with food and beverage handling is helpful but not required—training will be provided to the right candidate
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally for restocking or setup tasks
• Loving sports and enjoying the energy of a sports bar is a big plus!
