Front Counter

  1. Customer Service & Order Taking
  • Greeting Guests: Welcome customers warmly as they enter, creating a positive first impression.
  • Taking Orders: Listen to customer requests, input orders accurately into the POS system, and clearly communicate any special dietary needs or modifications to the kitchen staff.
  • Menu Knowledge: Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, daily specials, and pricing.
  • Handling Complaints: Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
  1. Cash Handling & Transactions
  • Processing Payments: Accept cash, credit cards, and digital payments, and accurately count back change.
  • Register Management: Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, ensuring all transactions are accurately accounted for.
  1. Food Assembly, Restocking & Sanitation
  • Order Preparation: Assemble orders by grabbing specific food/drink items, packing to-go bags, and ensuring items are served at the correctly.
  • Stocking: Keep the counter area, condiment stations, napkin dispensers, and beverage machines fully stocked throughout the shift.
  • Cleaning: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by wiping down counters, sweeping the lobby, and clearing dining tables.

Key Skills Required

  • Communication: Clear and friendly verbal communication is essential.
  • Time Management: The ability to multitask and work quickly and efficiently under pressure during busy rushes.
  • Basic Math: Essential for accurately handling cash, calculating change, and balancing registers.
  • Customer Focus: A patient, positive, and empathetic attitude.

Team Members will cross-train in various areas of the restaurant. Team members can be assigned to a primary job but may be required to step into other roles as needed. As a Warrior Wings Team Member, you will be responsible for creating a fun and customer-focused environment while maintaining consistent quality food orders quickly.
