Position Overview

Loft39 is seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Associate to join our team as a 1099 contractor. This is a hybrid role, combining remote work with on-site walkthroughs twice a week. This position is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for sales, events, and hospitality. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by engaging with potential clients, guiding them through the sales process, and closing deals.

Responsibilities

  • Client Outreach: Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively follow up with potential clients.
  • Consultative Sales: Understand client needs and recommend the best Loft39 spaces and packages for their events.
  • Proposal Creation: Prepare and present customized proposals that highlight the value of our offerings.
  • Follow-Up: Manage leads effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and communication throughout the sales cycle.
  • Contract Negotiation: Assist clients with booking agreements and guide them through the reservation process.
  • Venue Walkthroughs: Conduct on-site client tours at 38 West 39th St. two days per week (12 PM - 6 PM).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and events team to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activities and results.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in events, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Customer Service: A friendly and professional demeanor with a client-first approach.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, email, and other sales-related platforms.
  • Flexibility: Availability to conduct on-site walkthroughs two days per week from 12 PM to 6 PM.
  • Availability: Estimated 25 hours per week, combining remote work and on-site responsibilities.

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $25/hour.
  • Commission: 5% commission on all closed sales.
