Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities:
To serve and suggestively sell drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts in an outgoing, friendly and timely manner to “WOW” our guests. Responsible for accurate cash handling.
Specific Functions and Duties:

  • Interacts with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
  • Checks and ensures the overall cleanliness of the restrooms every 30 minutes.
  • Understands and uses the P.O.S. (point of sale) system to clock-in/out and process/input orders.
  • Restocks service items as needed, i.e., glasses, ice.
  • Empties trashcans when needed.
  • Completes assigned cleaning duties.
    Qualification Standards:
  • Mobility required during the entire shift.
  • Ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
  • Capable of using knives and other food preparation equipment.
  • Transports garbage and cases of miscellaneous product weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Handles multiple priorities, work under stress and exercise good judgment.
  • Communicates with guests demonstrating confidence; encourages guests to feel relaxed, comfortable, and special.
    Physical Standards:
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length and to lift, bend, and stoop.
  • Must have the ability to frequently lift and carry bus tubs, trays and other objects weighing 25 pounds or more.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
