Position: Front of House (FOH) Team Member
Position Summary
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Front of House (FOH) Team Members to deliver an exceptional guest experience at Taíno’s. FOH team members are the face of our restaurant, responsible for providing warm hospitality, accurate order taking, and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Puerto Rican culture.
Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression.
  • Take customer orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments responsibly.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and front counter.
  • Answer menu questions and make recommendations to guests.
  • Address guest concerns or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
  • Support teammates during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to hospitality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
