Job Summary:

At The Table is looking for a skilled and motivated Fry/Sauté Cook to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking food using fryers and sauté stations, ensuring consistency, flavor, and presentation meet our standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items using fryers and sauté stations according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Operate cooking equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper temperatures and cooking techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
  • Assist with food prep, including chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients.
  • Monitor food stock and communicate with the kitchen team to ensure ingredient availability.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of ingredients and cooking surfaces.
  • Perform routine cleaning duties, including fryer maintenance and sauté station upkeep.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a fry cook, sauté cook, or line cook preferred.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sautéing and frying techniques.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
