Food Runner Responsibilities

  • Deliver food quickly, accurately, and with attention to presentation.
  • Verify each plate before leaving the kitchen to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service team to keep service running smoothly.
  • Support servers by pre-bussing tables, refilling water, and responding to guest requests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized expo line and dining room.
  • Learn the menu and confidently identify dishes when delivering food.
  • Assist with side work, stocking, and opening/closing duties.
  • Uphold Armor Brewing's standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
  • Weekend, evening, and holiday availability.
  • Restaurant experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
