Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
  • Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including food handling, sanitation, and equipment upkeep
  • Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients, and provide friendly, attentive service
  • Manage cash handling accurately by processing cash transactions and giving correct change
  • Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food preparation and handling procedures
  • Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively to deliver prompt service

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
  • Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques and boba, matcha, or fruit tea experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to operate POS systems confidently
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
