Qargo Coffee is an Italian espresso and pastry cafe at 707 E Ocean Blvd in downtown Long Beach. We're looking for an early riser to open the store with our lead and set the tone for the whole day.

Schedule: shifts start at 5:30 AM (we open at 6:00 AM). Weekday and weekend opens. Part-time, about 15-25 hours per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Open the store with the lead: power up the espresso machine and ovens, bake the first pastry wave, set the pastry case

• Pull great espresso and make drinks to Qargo recipes during the 7-10 AM morning rush

• Run food safety checks (temperatures, sanitizer, labels) on our store tablet

• Keep the bar, case and cafe clean, stocked and guest-ready

• Take orders on the POS and handle DoorDash pickups

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Reliable and on time: our day starts at 5:30 AM

• Friendly, fast and calm when there's a line

• Barista or cafe experience preferred; we'll train the right person

• California Food Handler card (or get one within 30 days)

• Able to stand for your shift and lift up to 25 lbs
