We’re looking for someone experienced, attentive and thoughtful to join our team and contribute to the legacy of our rich culinary tradition. As part of our kitchen team, you’ll work closely with the family that has built this restaurant into what it is today, including our founder—a talented and devoted chef whose love for Eritrean cuisine continues to inspire every dish.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to our authentic recipes and standards.
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently in a cozy and modest environment, ensuring consistency and care in every dish
  • Assist with prep work, stock management, and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Respect and uphold the culinary traditions and values that define our restaurant.

Skills

  • Experience as a line cook in a high-paced kitchen environment or in a similar role, with a willingness to adapt to a slower-paced, hands-on kitchen environment.
  • A thoughtful and considerate approach to cooking, with an appreciation for Eritrean culinary traditions.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with a collaborative and positive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a setting where attention to detail and care for each plate are celebrated.
