Lennon's (located at 16 West Jefferson Avenue in Naperville, IL) is seeking a hard-working, fast-paced Barback to support our bartending team and ensure smooth, efficient bar operations.
Position Overview
As a Barback, you are the backbone of the bar. You will work behind the scenes to keep the bar fully stocked, exceptionally clean, and organized so our bartenders can focus on crafting cocktails and serving guests. [
Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Restock liquor bottles, beer, wine, mixers, and ice throughout the shift.
  • Prep Work: Prepare fresh garnishes, juices, and syrups according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Cleanliness: Wash and sanitize glassware quickly, clear empty glasses from the bar top, and maintain a spotless workspace.
  • Trash & Safety: Empty trash cans, wipe down counters, and immediately clean up spills to maintain a safe environment.
  • Team Support: Assist bartenders with unexpected requests during peak volume hours to keep service moving.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, move quickly, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs, like beer kegs).
  • Speed & Focus: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and a proactive, helpful attitude.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience: Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
