Woods Bagot is seeking an experienced Analytics Consultant to translate complex business data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional project teams, operational leaders, and external stakeholders to design metrics, build interactive dashboards, and deliver data-driven solutions that optimize business performance.
You will act as both a technical data expert and a strategic advisor, helping transform raw data into clear, compelling narratives that guide executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy & Consulting: Partner with key stakeholders to identify business challenges, define KPIs, and design tailored analytical frameworks and measurement strategies.
  • Dashboard & Report Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reporting suites using modern BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Data Modeling & Analysis: Perform complex quantitative analyses, trend modeling, and ad-hoc statistical data exploration using SQL, Python, or R.
  • Stakeholder Enablement: Translate technical data findings into executive-ready presentations and conduct user training to promote data literacy across the organization.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate manual data collection, improve data governance, and maintain high standards for data accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Analytics Expertise: Proven track record in data analysis, business intelligence, or management consulting with an emphasis on quantitative solutions.
  • BI & Visualization: Advanced hands-on experience with modern BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) and data visualization principles.
  • Querying & Languages: High proficiency in SQL for querying large, complex datasets; experience with Python or R for advanced analytics is highly preferred.
  • Data Architecture Awareness: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL pipelines, and cloud database environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
  • Business Acumen & Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
