At Cornerstone Pub and Prime, we believe great servers are built, not born. That's why our Server Assistant position is one of the most important roles in the restaurant.
This is where you'll learn every part of the guest experience before taking your own tables. You'll work along side experienced servers, bartenders, cooks, and managers while learning what it truly means to provide exceptional hospitality.
When server positions become available, we always look to promote from within before hiring outside the company.

What You'll Learn

You'll be cross-trained in every support position, including:

• Creating a welcoming enviroment the minute our customers step through the front door
• Managing wait lists and seating by using proper rotation
• Bringing trays of food out to tables quickly and accurately
• Expoing the food by adding the final touches, quality control, and loading up the trays
• Bussing, cleaning and resetting tables
• Assisting servers throughout service by getting waters, sauces etc
• Working with both the front and back of house to help communication and work flow
• Memorizing our menu along with what is on each menu item and what they come with
• Helping create a fast paced, fun work enviroment while also presenting an unforgettable guest experience
• Multi tasking with precision as you juggle multiple tasks

By learning every position, you'll gain the skills and confidence needed to become a successful server.

Restaurant experience is helpful, but not required.
We can teach the skills- but we can't teach attitude, integrity, hustle, and a genuine desire to take care of people.

Scheduling

We offer both part-time and flexible scheduling.
Nights, weekends, and holiday availability is required.
Fall and Winter time are some of our busiest times of the year due to The Dead End Hayride and The Cornerstone Christmas Experience, so these are all hands-on-deck seasons.
