Job Overview

Hometown is looking for an experienced server to join our team this fall! The position requires open availability throughout weekdays and weekends. Shifts range from 3-5 days per week.
Start date: Mid-late August

Responsibilities

  • Serve delicious food and drinks in a fast paced and fun environment
  • Prepare specialty coffees and cocktails using professional equipment
  • Operate a high volume section while maintaining prompt and friendly service
  • Perform cleaning tasks around the diner during slow periods

Skills

  • Previous serving experience is required (minimum 2 years in the industry is required)
  • Excellent communicator
  • English language proficiency
  • Coffee, cocktail, beer, and breakfast food knowledge
  • Staying calm in high pressure, high volume settings
  • Passion for hospitality and the unique restaurant scene that Saskatoon has to offer
