Job Summary

 Employee is responsible for ensuring a positive member experience. Employee must be proficient in taking, delivering, and serving of all food and beverage here at the club. Employee must look and act in a professional manner while here at the club at all times. Employee is responsible for ensure that all protocols set forth by the management team are followed at all times

Essential Functions and Accountabilities

  1. Tobe on the floor and accessible at all times during the service period
  2. Maintain a constant sense of urgency while on theclock
  3. Sets up sidestations and performs assigned side work
  4. Provided immediate attention to all members/guests upon their arrival
  5. Understand and verbalize all of the menu items
  6. Understand and up sell any specials
  7. Distributes menus
  8. Fills glasses with ice water while guests decide upon order, answers questions with confidence and suggests menu items
  9. Takes members/guests orders
  10. Turns order into kitchen correctly, double checks tickets, and tells cooks about any special instructions
  11. Assembles food on tray; retrieves food from each station
  12. Serves meals; places dishes by courses in front of each person. Serves from the left of each person, with their left hand
  13. Always serve women first starting with the eldest and going to the youngest
  14. Checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction. Replenishes water and butter as necessary
  15. Removes soiled dishes, after every guest is finished with the course
  16. Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks
  17. Verifies accuracy of prices, taxes, tips and other charges on all checks. Ensures correct member account on guest check
  18. Presents guest check
  19. Handles all charges and credit cards as applicable from guests’ and members’ charges as prescribed by standard operation procedures
  20. Keeps tables, dining room and side stations clean and tidy
  21. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur to manager on duty
  22. Performs clean up and closing duties as assigned by manager
  23. Attends daily pre-meal meetings
  24. Performs any duty assigned by management
    Minimum Requirements/ Skills

Previous Server experience 2yrs required Requires flexibility to work weekend and holidays Requires outgoing, customer service oriented and friendly attitude Knowledge of food, wine and liquor is required
