Job Summary:
As a Server at Crab Cab, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service. Your role involves taking orders, making recommendations, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have everything they need for a memorable dining experience.
Core Responsibilities:

• Greet Guests: Welcome guests warmly, introduce yourself, and set the tone for a great dining experience.
• Take Orders: Accurately take food and drink orders, ensuring you understand any special requests or dietary needs.
• Deliver Food and Drinks: Serve orders in a timely manner, ensuring food and drinks are presented well.
• Upsell and Recommend: Make recommendations on specials, beverages, and menu items, upselling where appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
• Coordinate with Kitchen and Bar: Ensure seamless communication between the kitchen, bar, and front-of-house staff to deliver prompt and accurate service.
• Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Check back with guests during their meal, refill drinks, and ensure all needs are met.
• Assist with Bussing and Clean-Up: Help clear tables and reset them for new guests when necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, and lift trays of food and drinks.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Guest Relations:

• Provide attentive, personalized service to each guest, addressing their needs with professionalism and care.
• Anticipate guest needs, offering refills, suggestions, and follow-ups throughout the dining experience.
• Thank guests sincerely and ensure they leave with a positive impression of Crab Cab.

Teamwork and Communication:

• Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for the duration of your shift.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Bend, twist, and move comfortably to serve guests and clear tables.
