Responsibilities

  • Execute orders in a timely manner to the specifications outlined in the recipe book
  • Coordinate food preparation and service with other departments as necessary, prioritizing strong communication with front of house staff to optimize guest experience
  • Employ the FIFO (First In, First Out) system with all ingredients
  • Maintain proper time, temperature, and storage of all cooked and raw ingredients
  • Maintain a thorough, fluent knowledge of the food menu, staying current with menu updates as they occur
  • Work with a purpose, completing tasks in an efficient manner and offering support to teammates
  • Follow sanitation and safety guidelines, as well as food handling procedures
  • Perform duties in a sanitary and safe manner according to Eno's kitchen operating procedures and the law

Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
  • Experience with quantity food preparation in similar concepts is strongly preferred
  • Food Handler Certified
  • Ability to remain standing for six or more hours
