Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping / front desk team. This is a dual role position, and the ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, as well as front desk operations; customer service, answering phones, operating hotel computer and reservation system, checking guests in and out, etc. Weekends and holidays may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards and procedures
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities
- Vacuum, mop, and dust guest rooms and public areas
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests as needed
- Greeting guests upon arrival and departure with warmth and professionalism.
- Assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Processing reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
- Providing information about hotel facilities, services, and event spaces.
- Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
- Collaborating with all other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Upholding hotel policies and procedures to ensure the safety and satisfaction of guests.
- Being flexable to help anyone on our team with housekeeping, events, golf needs, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping and front desk or a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
