We are a casual dining restaurant with two locations. One in Kaneohe (Haiku) and the other in Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu. Our mission is to create a memorable dining experience serving quality food with great flavor profiles by crew members dedicated to excellence.
We are seeking a a small group new team members to join our Kitchen Teams at both locations. While we all started out dishwashing, your role will vary depending on your amount of experience. If you are looking for training as a member of our back of the house team in the entry level, there is no better place to start than our Dish Team. Our Dish Team makes tips in addition to their base pay as does all of our night time positions. If you have experience in being a part of a Hot Line, our chef will look at your experience and find the perfect spot for you.
As a member of our kitchen team, if you're just starting out, you may work with our Dish Crew as our entry level position. This way, you will learn your way around the kitchen and how to stay organized in our fast-paced environment. Again, if you have experience in restaurant kitchens, we will look at your background to find the best fit we have for you.

What You Can Work Toward:
Dish-
For our kitchen, this is where it all begins as an entry level position. You will learn your way around our kitchen and restaurant, learn teamwork, learn what it's like to work in a fast-paced professional kitchen and show us you have what it takes to move up into our various kitchen positions. Many of us started our careers in this position.

Pantry-
As a Pantry team member of Haleiwa Joe’s, you are expected to handle and prepare cold and some hot appetizers, salads and desserts at a timely and efficient manor while maintaining excellence and a clean and safe working environment. This can be a starting position in our kitchens. While we love to hire new team members with experience, someone with a desire and drive to learn is just as valuable to us.

Day Prep-
Haleiwa Joe's has four specific Prep positions.
Prep 1- Cut meats+
Prep 2- Bakes & Makes our in-house sauces+
Prep 3 & 4- Cuts various veggies, makes sauces, portions various items+

Fry
Our fry station fries menu selections found on both our appetizer menu as well as our dinner menu. We also have a crew member at this station to assist in the plating of these items.

Broil
Our Broiler station and our Broiler Assistant (BA) are the heart of our Hotline and Kitchen. Generally, they are the two most senior members of our kitchen team on duty at that time. They broil, bake and control the pace and tempo of our kitchen operations each evening by coordinating all other stations to make our amazing food offerings for our guests.

Haleiwa Joe’s operates two locations on Oahu. We are a casual dining restaurant and offer food, beverages and service to our guests that lead to memorable experiences as we strive to exceed our guest’s expectations. We serve dinner every night from 4 in the afternoon until 9 in the evening. During busy seasons, we may serve guests until 10PM as needed.
Our menu includes our famous prime rib, steaks, fresh fish, salads, ono pupu and wicked desserts. We have a fully stocked bar with great bartenders and an extensive wine list. Our Haiku location in Kaneohe sits on 5 acres and our restaurant overlooks our gardens. The views are spectacular both day and night. Our dining room is open air and is best described as a giant lanai overlooking our gardens and pond. It’s very beautiful and there are not many restaurants that sit on 5 acres!

**Salary range for these positions is $12 - $18 per hour.
