Barberitos serves fresh, made-to-order southwestern style food in a fast casual setting. Every day we grill our meats, grate our cheese, smash our guacamole, and blend our salsas and marinades. It is our goal to provide the freshest food with the friendliest service every single day of the week.

We are looking for AM/PM/Weekend Shift Leaders to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts. If you’re a leader committed to quality service and have experience in our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Supervising and participating in the operations of the entire restaurant
· Ensure health and safety standards are followed
· Ensure customers are given the freshest food and friendliest service
· Foster and maintain a positive work environment
· Knowing what each position needs in order to be ready for service. Being prepared makes the shift run more smoothly
· During the shift, making sure each team member is working
· Being responsible for the store and the team member’s actions
· Staying on top of the dishes and cleaning the customer areas
· Double checking that all opening, shift change, and closing duties have been performed
· Counting the money and closing out the cash drawers;
· Being thoroughly familiar with each menu item and its preparation;
· Assisting in food preparation as necessary
· Assisting other team members in the performance of their duties
· Being thoroughly familiar with all systems and procedures
· Upholding the image of Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina at all times; and Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills

Food Service experience a plus but not a must
· Commitment to excellent service
· Working well within a team
· Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast
· Strong problem-solving aptitude
· Ability to stand for long periods
· High school diploma is preferred, not required
