Responsibilities

  • Stock and Replenish Supplies: Keep the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, glassware, garnishes, and ice throughout the shift.
  • Clean and Sanitize: Ensure the bar area, tables, and glassware are clean and sanitized regularly to maintain health standards.
  • Assist Bartenders: Support bartenders by preparing garnishes, collecting glassware, and restocking items as needed.
  • Maintain Equipment: Check that all bar equipment, like coolers and ice machines, is functional and report issues promptly.
  • Collect and Dispose of Trash/bottles: Empty trash cans, recycle glass, and keep the workspace tidy during and after shifts.
  • Organize and Restock Inventory: Help with receiving deliveries, organizing stockrooms, and rotating supplies for efficient access.
  • Customer Support: Engage with customers when appropriate,
    providing extra napkins, water, or helping with small needs.
  • Assist with games and pool tables as needed.

Skills Needed

  • Strong Work Ethic and Stamina: Ability to handle long periods of standing, lifting, and moving quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to notice low stock levels, spills, or needed clean-up quickly to keep the bar running smoothly.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude toward supporting bartenders and other staff in various tasks.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively, especially during busy periods.
  • Basic Knowledge of Bar Tools and Drinks: Familiarity with bar equipment and basic drink ingredients, with a willingness to learn.
  • Good Communication: Clear communication skills for interacting with bartenders, other staff, and customers when needed.
