Role Overview: As a Barista at our seasonal riverfront restaurant, you will be at the forefront of creating memorable moments for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to craft and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, ensuring each cup reflects our commitment to excellence. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall guest experience by providing friendly and efficient service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting with various tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the coffee bar.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing recommendations, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction with every visit.
• Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, with precision and care, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including brewing equipment, countertops, and storage areas, to uphold hygiene standards and create an inviting atmosphere.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate replenishment needs to management to ensure seamless service.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold efficient workflow, assist with tasks during peak periods, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Accredited Food Handler's Certificates is required to work
• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred, with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service etiquette.
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure and multitasking with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by seasonal business needs.
