Barista – Tiny Tapp & Café
Join the team at Tiny Tapp & Café, a busy café and restaurant located on the Chicago Riverwalk. We are looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic Baristas who enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Whether you're an experienced barista or looking to grow your coffee and hospitality skills, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our guests every day.
What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, matcha beverages, and other café offerings
• Deliver friendly, attentive service and create a positive guest experience
• Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked café workspace
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and beverage preparation standards
• Assist with pastry displays, product stocking, and general café operations
• Work closely with the café and kitchen teams to ensure efficient service during busy periods

What We're Looking For

• Food Handler Certificate (required)
• Previous café, barista, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Availability for morning, weekend, and holiday shifts
