Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operational integrity of cloud-based POS platforms, IoT devices, RFID dispensing systems, and smart beverage/coffee technologies by implementing advanced monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic workflows.
- Develop automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, ETL frameworks, and Airflow to streamline reporting, operational intelligence, and multi-system data synchronization.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for system irregularities using log analytics, real-time dashboards, and anomaly detection algorithms.
- Design and implement operational playbooks and SLAs for incident management, system maintenance, data governance, and technology upgrades.
- Optimize network and endpoint performance across tablets, scanners, sensors, and edge devices using network performance monitoring and basic configuration management.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to drive continuous process improvement supported by data modeling, KPI dashboards (Power BI / Tableau), and predictive analytics.
- Maintain and improve cloud workloads (AWS S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch) including serverless automation, permission hardening, and performance checks.
- Support website and digital infrastructure through content management, security scanning, SEO optimizations, and integration management across WordPress, Wix, and Squarespace.
- Configure webhooks, API integrations, and automation scripts to synchronize POS, IoT, and operations data across multiple platforms.
- Document technical workflows, and provide multidisciplinary support for both IT operations and data-driven initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 0–4 years of experience in IT operations, data analytics, or cloud-based technical support.
- Hands-on experience working with Python, SQL, and ETL/automation workflows.
- Experience supporting POS systems, IoT devices, or cloud-connected smart technologies.
- Background in troubleshooting networks, endpoints, and device ecosystems in fast-paced environments.
- Experience building dashboards, monitoring workflows, or data-driven reporting systems.
- Exposure to AWS services, CMS platforms, and API/webhook integrations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Airflow, AWS Glue, or advanced ETL pipeline automation.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Redshift, or other modern data warehousing platforms.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, OpenSearch).
- Exposure to automation platforms (Zapier, Make.com) for system integrations.
- Background supporting restaurant, hospitality, or retail technology ecosystems.
