The Karr Group is looking for Line Cooks to join the kitchen team at JAX Food & Games, one of Killington’s popular restaurants and entertainment venues.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established quality standards
  • Set up, stock, and maintain an assigned kitchen station
  • Ensure food is prepared consistently and presented according to standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Complete prep work and assist with daily kitchen operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with station breakdown and closing duties
  • Work closely with other kitchen team members to keep service running efficiently

What We're Looking For

  • Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
  • High-volume kitchen experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods
  • Must be local to the Killington or Rutland area with reliable personal housing
