Job Title: Morning Concession Service Assistant
Department: Driftwood Concessions
Reports To: Warehouse Production Manager
Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday, Hours vary depending on show schedule
Employment Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00
Position Summary:
The Morning Concession Service Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring all theater concession and bar areas are clean, well-stocked, and operational prior to the start of daily activities. This role involves hands-on setup, maintenance, organization, and replenishment of concession and bar stations across various theaters, with a focus on cleanliness, efficiency, and readiness for service.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily warehouse meetings to review the show calendar and special event schedule.
  • Assist with breakdown of special events, including removal and storage of tables and chairs; reset theaters as required.
  • Retrieve and return items such as pop racks, bus tubs, linens, and boxes from assigned theaters.
  • Clear and organize theaters and storage areas, ensuring all items are returned to their correct location.
  • Restock theaters with necessary concession and bar supplies, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
  • Relocate unopened or open products (e.g., beverages, mixers, wine) as needed, based on show schedules and theater availability.
  • Consolidate and rotate wine inventory according to protocol (merry red and white wines).
  • Monitor and manage product expiration dates, moving items accordingly.
  • Ensure each theater has the appropriate number of garbage cans (one for every two stations).
  • Set up and test all concession equipment, ensuring it is clean, plugged in, and fully operational—including Appetize units.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment in all concession and back storage areas.
  • Clean and sanitize pretzel machines, bar areas, and all visible surfaces to ensure a professional appearance.
  • Rotate and check stock in the warehouse, including BIBs (Bag-in-Box), and replace or mark items nearing expiration.
  • Check CO₂ levels for beverage dispensing and replace tanks as needed.
  • Prepare candy bins according to show and employee schedules.
  • Unload and organize deliveries upon arrival.
  • Dispose of all warehouse garbage daily.
  • Perform deep cleaning duties (sweep and mop coolers, storage rooms, and warehouse) Every Monday and Thursday.

Qualifications:

  • 18 years old
  • Previous experience in food & beverage, hospitality, stocking, or set up
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Availability to work early morning shifts as required.
