What you bring:

  • A happy, extroverted, generous, and welcoming personality that loves hospitality, people, and building long term relationships with guests
  • Well-honed ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and appreciates a high-volume role that’s full of energy and happy guests
  • Barback candidates must possess prior beertending or bar support experience and enjoy supporting a hardworking and fast-paced, high-volume bartending team while interacting with guests and staying calm under pressure
  • Flexible, adjustable, and creative with a great sense of humor while being able to multi-task and manage competing priorities on a busy floor with ease
  • Athletes and sports fans strongly encouraged to apply
  • Must be available for both weekends and evening shifts
  • Physical stamina to withstand a full shift on your feet
  • Valid Washington Food Handler’s permit and a MAST class 12 or 13 certification

About Us Rough & Tumble is Seattle's first-ever pub to prioritize women's sports on our screens and sound. In fact, we’re the only place in the world doing what we do. We are 100% woman-owned and are a place that is welcoming, fun, and enjoyable for all fans of all sports, regardless of gender. We're investing in women athletes/sports and we're passionate sports fans, period. We'll be showing the OL Reign and Seattle Storm just as we will be showing the Kraken, Mariners, Sounders, Seahawks, and everything in between. Beyond just games, we are a welcoming and inclusive space for stellar brunches, late night dining, and have the best terrace/deck in all of Ballard (f we do say so ourselves.)
