Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Server to join our team at our Thai and Sushi restaurant. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing them with menus and assisting in seating arrangements.
2. Offer menu recommendations and provide detailed information about Thai and sushi dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods.
3. Take and accurately record food and beverage orders from customers in a timely manner.
4. Ensure special dietary requests and allergies are communicated to the kitchen staff for appropriate accommodations.
5. Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and professionally, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
6. Check on guests during their meals, ensuring they have everything they need and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
7. Maintain a working knowledge of the restaurant's beverage offerings, including wines, beers, and cocktails, and provide beverage recommendations.
8. Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the dining experience and increase revenue.
9. Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
10. Process guest payments accurately, handling cash, credit card, and digital transactions following the restaurant's procedures.
11. Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff and management, to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
12. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up tables, cleaning, and restocking supplies.
13. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure the health and safety of guests and colleagues.
14. Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
15. Stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and restaurant events to provide accurate information to guests.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
2. A positive and friendly attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
4. Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
5. Knowledge of Thai and sushi cuisine is an advantage but can be acquired on the job.
6. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., trays with dishes).
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
