Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and handling.
  • Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Utilize knife skills for precise food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
  • Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
  • Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Line Cook or similar role.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Experience in fine dining or catering is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
