Garden Table looking for a responsible person to lead and manage our kitchen at our Broad Ripple location. This opening is has an immediate start date. The position requires availability from Wednesday - Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Bonuses are administered quarterly on top of base salary if performance goals are met.
The ideal candidate should have the following characteristics/skills:
-Responsible
-Be Servesafe certified
-Ability to multi-task
-A love for food and the restaurant industry
-Should be up to date on culinary trends
-Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
-Ability to create professional relationships with current reps
-Ability to curate additional relationships with local farms, food vendors, and other restaurants in the neighborhood
Responsibilities Include:
-Ordering according to pars and needs
-Ensuring all prep work is complete as needed daily
-Checking in deliveries
-Ensuring order accuracy
-Creating seasonal menus
-Creating specials
