Job Summary:
Join our growing Twisters Team, an exciting, locally owned business looking to serve local communities fun and custom created sodas and treats! Our staff members are the face of the business, creating a welcoming and streamlined environment, we serve our customers with an emphasis on providing excellent and consistent service. You will be responsible for assisting in leading a team of employees at one of our Twisters Soda Bar locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership- Directing, administering, and controlling operations and activities
  • Customer Service- Ensuring high quality service and outstanding customer care
  • Quality Control- Focusing on providing consistent and high quality products to our customers
  • Compliance- Ensuring compliance the company, state, and regulatory guidelines and procedures
  • Staff Management- Maintaining balance and equity in the workspace among the staff and responding quickly and appropriately to their needs

Qualifications:
The Shift Lead should be team-oriented, hard-working, consistent, and have excellent communication skills. This role will include cash-handling, drawer balances, and consistent communication with both the owners and store staff. This person should be devoted to learning, team leading, and able to execute multiple tasks.
Minimum Qualifications Include-

  • Must be able to fluently speak/read English
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have basic math/ cash counting skills
  • Must be physically and mentally capable of learning to operate standard restaurant equipment
  • Must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds and able to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of finger and wrists

Benefits:
This position provides a flexible amount of hours per week based on availability and predetermined need, with expectation to have availability on days, nights, and weekends.

Pay:
Twisters pays an hourly base rate, plus split tips with the employees that work that day, this applies to both cash and card transaction tips.

A Little More About Us:
Twisters Soda Bar is a locally owned company, we opened our first storefront in March of 2023 and our second storefront not long after in May 2024. Our first store located in Pendleton, IN where our co-owner are from! Twisters servers custom made and prepared drinks made with popular sodas, lemonade, water, seltzer, Icee and more! With other tasty snacks, candies and merch, we have something for everyone! We're still a small business growing rapidly and adapting to the wants of our customers and finding our fit in the communities we serve.
