Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest experience. Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly rate and tips.
Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. This is a seasonal position as well as weather dependant. We are open 3 days a week, Friday-Sunday for Lunch & Dinner. Future plans are to keep the beer garden open all year.
Keep in mind that your duties require working during weekends and holidays, especially the busy track days, such as Memorial Day weekend, Fathers Day, Haskell Day(July 18th), & Labor Day Weekend
Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to specific recipes given
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate, returning correct change to patrons and balancing the cash register.

Requirements and skills

  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Proven working experience as a Bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Computer literacy
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
