Job Overview

The Hostess is expected to answer/return calls, maintain wait-list using Toast Tables, greet, and seat guests in an upbeat and hospitable manner.

Responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Imagine One Hospitality style, practices, culture, teminology, organizational structure, and general philosophy.
  • Offer guests of the restaurant a personalized experience.
  • Answer phones according to Imagine One Hospitality standards and provide information regarding the restaurant or any other restaurant service.
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, and what is available for the day.
  • Know the server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patters and maximum workload capacity
  • Maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests when greeting them, seating them, and throughout their dining experience.
  • Anticipate guests' needs by constantly scanning the room and picking up cues from facial expression, body language, and demeanor.

  • Understanding and ability to adhere to all Imagine One Hospitality restaurant standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Understanding awareness and concern for safety and security and knowledge of how to report any incidents.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality, including matters relating to guests, staff, the restaurant, and the company.
