Position Summary

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and presentation standards while maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, works well with others, and is committed to delivering consistently high-quality dishes. With a pay increase at 60 days!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and chef specifications.
  • Set up and stock assigned station before each shift.
  • Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and served promptly.
  • Assist with daily prep and station organization.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team during service.
  • Label, date, and properly store all food products.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and inventory when needed.
  • Complete opening and closing side work.
  • Support fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of line cook experience preferred.
  • Experience in a full-service restaurant is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
