Job Overview

Job Summary: As a lounge host, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting our lounge and deck area. Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service and create a warm and inviting environment. You will greet and assist guests, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure that all their needs are met throughout their visit.
Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival.
  2. Assist guests with seating arrangements, taking into account their preferences and group sizes.
  3. Provide menus and inform guests about specials.
  4. Address any guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
  5. Monitor and manage the lounge and deck's seating capacity, ensuring a smooth flow of guests and efficient use of space.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lounge area, including tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.
  7. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.
  8. Stay up to date with the lounge's offerings, promotions, and special events.
  9. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  10. Assist in the training and onboarding of new lounge host staff members.

Requirements:

  1. No experience necessary, we will train you! Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hospitality setting would be an added benefit.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  5. Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail selections.
  6. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
