  1. Food Preparation & Cooking
  • Operating Fryers: Cook items like french fries, chicken tenders, onion rings, etc according to precise recipe times and temperatures.
  • Monitoring Quality: Check food for perfect crispness, color, and internal temperature before serving.
  • Seasoning Foods: Apply the correct amount of salt or specialized seasoning immediately after food leaves the oil.
  • Managing Batter: Dip, coat, or batter raw proteins safely before frying.
  1. Station Maintenance & Safety
  • Filtering Oil: Drain, filter, and replace fryer oil safely using protective gear to maintain food quality.
  • Temperature Logs: Monitor and record fryer temperatures regularly to meet health department codes.
  • Cleaning Station: Wipe down heating lamps, scrape fry hoppers, and clean floors to prevent grease buildup and slips.
  1. Inventory & Kitchen Teamwork
  • Stocking Freezers: Keep the reach-in freezers near the fry station fully stocked with frozen goods.
  • Communicating Rushes: Coordinate with assembly line workers and cashiers to cook the right amount of food during peak hours.
  • Minimizing Waste: Track food discard levels and cook in smaller batches during slow periods to keep food fresh.

Key Skills Required

  • Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods in a hot kitchen environment.
  • Speed: Fast reflexes to safely manage multiple timers during high-volume rushes.
  • Safety Focus: Strict adherence to hazardous chemical, hot oil, and foodborne illness prevention rules.

Team Members will cross-train in various areas of the restaurant. Team members can be assigned to a primary job but may be required to step into other roles as needed. As a Warrior Wings Team Member, you will be responsible for creating a fun and customer-focused environment while maintaining consistent quality food orders quickly.
