Weekend Restaurant Manager

Location: Emma's inside The Club at Prairie Falls
Reports To: General Manager / Owner
Employment Type: Part Time/Full Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Weekend Manager to lead our guest-facing operations. The Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing front-of-house staff, maintaining service standards, and driving overall operational excellence. Filling in as bartender, barback, expo, server and any other need during shift. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives prompt, professional, and friendly service
  • Resolve guest concerns efficiently and diplomatically
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and uphold brand standards
  • Monitor dining room flow and table management to optimize service

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and supervise hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff
  • Create staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, specials, and service focus
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture
  • Work alongside and in collaboration with other department managers & staff on private banquet events, Prairie Falls events, etc.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate food service
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and private dining events
  • Monitor inventory of FOH supplies (menus, bar supplies, uniforms, etc.)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Food safety certification (or ability to obtain)
