Job Overview

We are seeking qualified foodservice professionals with experience in bakery or restaurant kitchen operations to fill an integral role on our management team.

Candidates for this position will have a provable record of managing a kitchen staff, and must be well-suited to a position which requires accountability, leadership, and an ability to execute on time-sensitive directives from senior management.

Salary range is negotiable based on experience and/or otherwise demonstrated value. We offer a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(K), vacation time, personal and sick days.

Time committment is 40 hours per week. As with most food service jobs, this position requires weekend availablity and flexibility around busy holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Staff Management
    • Schedule kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during all operating hours.
    • Hold kitchen employees accountable to company policies
  • Production Planning
    • Coordinate daily baking schedules to meet customer demand without excessive leftovers.
    • Adjust production plans based on special orders, events, holidays, and peak times.
    • Work with front-of-house management to ensure product availability and timely completion of production.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies.
    • Order supplies and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent wastage and ensure stock rotation.
  • Safety Training and Compliance
    • Observe employee food safety habits and make corrections where needed
    • Train staff on the correct use of kitchen equipment to minimize risk of injury and/or equipment wear and tear.
