Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and bar. The General Manager is responsible for leading the management team, developing employees, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and profitability. Responsibilities 

  • Oversee all daily restaurant and bar operations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and team members to create a positive, high-performing work environment.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate employees.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
  • Monitor labor costs, food and beverage costs, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
  • Oversee cash handling, deposits, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and service throughout the restaurant.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Work alongside the team during busy shifts while providing leadership and support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant management experience is required, with General Manager experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing labor, inventory, and operating costs.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining high operational standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
