Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Line Cook / Sandwich Maker in the Back of House. As a crucial member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling our signature sandwiches, as well as assisting with other food preparation tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our kitchen.
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to our recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of ingredients, such as slicing meats and cheeses, chopping vegetables, and preparing condiments.
  • Cook and prepare side dishes, such as soups, salads, and fries, following established recipes and procedures.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
  • Maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations as needed.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and best practices to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members.
  • Collaborate with Front of House staff to fulfill guest orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and maintaining organization in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and follow recipes and procedures consistently.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
