Reports to: Back Shop Manager & Pro Shop Manager

Are you looking for a summer position that allows you to work outdoors? We are looking for Back Shop Attendants for the 2025 golf season (~April to November) to join our team! This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the customer service field and a great steppingstone for those looking to get into the golf industry.

Work Schedule:
Full-time and part-time positions available. This position is mainly outdoors therefore the applicant must be willing to work outdoors in various conditions. Evening and weekend availability may be required. Hours for the season vary based on the time of year and are set based on sunrise and sunset.
Hired candidates will receive complimentary range balls, discounts on proshop merchandise, and food items. Discounted golf and cart rates for employees and their guests are also included as a benefit of the job. Some booking restrictions apply.

Back Shop Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by getting their clubs from storage and put onto a cart (when applicable).
  • Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
  • Ensure the parking lot and surrounding areas remain clean and accessible. This includes but is not limited to;
  • Ensuring the carts do not overflow into the parking lot.
  • Ensuring garbage cans are emptied prior to overflow.
  • Keeping the driving range and practice green clear of golf balls and range baskets.
  • Assists with inventory by notifying the Proshop Manager when we are low on supplies.
  • Washes and stores power and pull carts.
  • Ensure the driving range remains stocked with range balls and baskets.

Back Shop Attendant Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Dependability
  • Excellent verbal communication (English essential, French is an asset)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Basic customer service experience
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to complete tasks without constant supervision

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have reliable transportation as public transportation is not available in the area.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
  • Experience operating motorized vehicles such as ATVs, golf carts, or similar equipment is required. Having a G1 is considered an asset.
