Job Overview

Purpose:
As a Service Assistant (SA), you will be responsible for assisting the restaurant management team in our service objectives.  You will be helping seat guests, run food, and getting tables clean and ready for the next guest and help with other floor management tasks.

Responsibilities:
Based upon need for your particular shift, you will be assigned to one of three areas as a home base. These are the Host Stand, Expo, or a designated Revenue Center. Here are the responsibilities depending on what area you are assigned to.

  • Host Stand
    • Lead the guests to their table
  • Answer the phone
  • Take to go orders
  • Conduct hourly bathroom checks
    • Fill hand soap
    • Fill toilet paper
    • Wipe up any excess water on the counter or floor
    • Wipe down sinks
  • Expo
    • Running Food
    • Polishing silverware
    • Polishing glassware
    • Bar Dishes
  • Revenue Center (100/200/300/400)
    • Bussing tables
    • Wiping/Sanitizing tables
    • Sweeping
    • Setting tables

Expect to be moved around based upon needs of service. Just because you are assigned to the host stand doesn’t mean that you will not be asked to fill in with other responsibilities throughout your shift.
*Management will check in with the coordinator if they need a specific task done. In the event of the coordinator being occupied they will follow up with decision made during that time frame
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexible Schedule/Ability to work 6+ hour shifts on your feet
  • Great time management skills
