Job Description:

Astoria Grill is seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our bar team. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits, along with the ability to engage with customers effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and engaging manner, ensuring a positive bar experience.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
• Monitor and comply with all health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage handling.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications.
