About Us: The George Brewhouse and Eatery is a thriving restaurant and brewery known for its great beer and amazing food.. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Line Cook to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities:

  • **Menu Preparation:**Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistent quality and speed.
  • **Inventory Management:**Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • **Station Management:**Manage and organize your designated cooking station, ensuring it is clean and efficient.
  • **Food Safety:**Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, following all food safety regulations.
  • **Communication:**Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
  • **Quality Control:**Ensure that all food items are prepared and cooked to the highest quality standards.
  • **Customer Satisfaction:**Assist in ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.
    Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum: 3-5 years of experience as a Line Cook
  • Required: Strong cooking skills, including knowledge of various cooking techniques (grilling, frying, sautéing, etc.).
  • Desired: Experience with combi ovens, a culinary school diploma, or a successful apprenticeship program.
  • Essential: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: Ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment and work under pressure.
  • Must: Possess strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
